We are a tiny open-source collective with a simple habit: build things we actually want to use, then share them properly.
Who we are
United Science Vaca — abbreviated USV, reborn as NUSV in 2026 with a new look, a new purpose and a fresh start. The project grew out of a small Android client and kept growing: today NUSV ships an Android ecosystem client, a private messenger, and games — all open source on GitHub.
Why we build in the open
Every repository is public. Our source code is predominantly written with the assistance of AI agents, then reviewed, tested and audited by humans before release — so publishing it isn't just a choice, it's part of how we work. If you can't trust the binary, read the source.
Open source also means the projects outlive us: anyone can fork, fix, translate or learn from them.
What we value
- Privacy and offline-first design — your messages and games shouldn't depend on someone else's server.
- No account, no dark patterns — if a project needs an account, it will say why, and it will offer a self-hosted option.
- Polish in the small things — sound effects synthesized on-device, themes, animations, stats that persist.
- Plain honesty — including about how the code was made.
